FRIENDS OF FLOWER

The deer are fine, and are visiting regularly. The kids are getting big! They still look healthy, for three deer living in a small patch of woods in the middle of a residential area! I have a feeling that we aren't the only ones feeding them.

Anyway, I gotta tell you about the newest diners. They showed up this past weekend, and have been regular visitors every night so far. First, Flower showed up,

then the next night Blossom came around. The following night, it was Rose that made the scene. They're all of Blossom and Rose. Blossom is the one that has a lot more white in her coat.

Every night, just when it turns dark, we turn on the patio light and sit back. It only takes a few minutes for them to show up.

They go right to the peanut containers, and the meal is on! They are fun to watch, because they are constantly trying to occupy the same space around the nut can, and they have a little difficulty biting through the peanut shell.

I put out some dry roasted unsalted nuts for them tonight, and they went crazy over those!

The next thing I'm watching for is a raccoon! LOL
