Her name is “Red”, she appeared in Central Park a little over a year ago, and her arrival is a mystery because there’s never been a red squirrel in Central Park before her!

I know two women who are her ‘nannies’ and bring nuts and cups of water daily, to make sure she gets along OK [like she couldn't take care of herself ;o)]. Apparently she has lots of fans who visit again and again and bring treats.
