Things were awfully quiet in the yard this morning -- I think that our Cooper's hawk was somewhere in the neighborhood! It gets quiet like that whenever he/she is around -- lookin' for breakfast! When it leaves the area, it seems that the smaller birds are the first ones to return. Probably because they're smaller and quicker in flight. Anyway, things are back to normal!
